Achievement

2016-17

Anna Triveni Yojna:

  • Benefit of the scheme is given to the tribal girls whose attendance is more than 70% during the term. This benefit is extended to the two tribal girls in the family.
  • 60kg (per term 30 kg) food gains (10 kg wheat,10 kg Rice, 10 kg. Corn) is given per academic session year to the tribal girls.
  • In the year 2016-17 this scheme is renamed as "Anna Triveni Yojana" dated on 20/09/2016.
  • In the year 2016-17 total 5.19 lakh tribal girls were benefitted by this scheme. 
  • The budget provision for the year 2016-17 was Rs. 61. 00 crore and an expenditure of Rs. 61.00 crore has been incurred. 100% achievement is made.

Doodh Sanjivani Yojna:

  • In this scheme 200 ml. flavoured milk is served 5 days in a week. The scheme is implemented to provide flavoured milk to 4.81  lakhs students of 26 under developed blocks of 12districts of states.
  • In the year 2016-17 total budget provision was Rs.88.24 crore and an expenditure of Rs. 51.17 crore has been incurred.

Tithi bhojan (Example of Public Partnership)

  • In the year 2016-17, more than 52.38 lakh children have been given the benefits of tithi bhojan.

Hot, nutritious snacks and meals to the students of Model School

  • Under this scheme snacks and Mid Day Meal is given to 14,650 students from std. VIII to XI. Rs.3.76 crore is spent for this scheme. 
  • From this year 2017-18 std. 12 is included under this scheme and for that budget provision of Rs 128.56 lakh for providing food and snacks to 4320 students of Model School for the year 2017-18

To Repair MDM kitchen and Modernization of MDM kitchen:

  • In the year 2016-17 total 339 kitchens has been repaired and an expenditure of Rs. 99.76 lakhs has been incurred. Total 50 kitchens has been modernized and an expenditure of Rs. 208.87 lakhs has been incurred.

Cooking Costs is revised for Primary per student from Rs.4.28 to Rs.4.58 per student and for Upper Primary per student from Rs.5.99 to Rs.6.41 

Honorarium is revised from 1000 to 1600 in this year 2016-17 dated on 11/11/2016. This honorarium is given to 96239 Cook cum helpers.

IVRS System:

  • IVRS system has been started in all the primary schools of the state since date 01/07/2016.So we can know how many students have opted Mid Day Meal on daily basis.

Annual Work Plan and Budget 2017-18:

  • PAB meeting was conducted at Delhi on 01/02/2017. Govt. of India has approved Annual Work Plan and Budget for the year 2017-18.

Steering Cum Monitoring Meeting:

  • State Level Steering cum Monitoring Committee meeting convened for the implementation of Mid Day Meal on 23/06/2016and 14/02/2017

  • Total 110 Steering Cum Monitoring Committee at Districts level and 259 at blocks level is held during the year.

Website Of Midday meal scheme:

  • In 2016-17 IVRS scheme was in force. Now it has been decided to create a new Web Site of Mid Day Meal Scheme to get No. of students opted Mid Day Meal on daily basis.

Budget:

  • Total budget provision Rs..1025.43 crore and Revised Budget Rs.948.12 crore and total grant received Rs.827.00 crore and Total expenditure of Rs 808.48 crore and 97% achievement against received grant.

  • Approval of total Rs. 1067.81 crore Rs in budget provision year 2017-18.

  • In the year 2015-16, more than 95.27 lakh children have been given the benefits of tithi bhojan.

  • Under this scheme snacks and Mid Day Meal is given to 9790 students from std. VIII to XI. Rs. 1.76 crore is spent for this scheme.

  • From this year 2016-17 std. 11 is included under this scheme and for that budget provision of Rs 8.98 crore for providing food and snacks to 20160 students of Model School for the year 2016-17

  • In the year 2015-16 total 4999 kitchens has been repaired and an expenditure of Rs. 1535.91 lakhs has been incurred. Total 500 kitchens has been modernized and an expenditure of Rs. 2589.73 lakhs has been incurred.

Cooking Costs is revised for Primary per student from Rs.4.18 to Rs.4.28 per student and for Upper Primary per student from Rs.5.85 to Rs.5.99 

Annual Work Plan and Budget 2015-16:

  • PAB meeting was conducted at Delhi on 05/02/2016. Govt. of India has approved Annual Work Plan and Budget for the year 2016-17.

Steering Cum Monitoring Meeting:

  • State Level Steering cum Monitoring Committee meeting convened for the implementation of Mid Day Meal on 30/06/15 and 29/01/2015

  • Total 105 Steering Cum Monitoring Committee at Districts level is held during the year.

Budget:

  • Total budget provision Rs..952.79 crore and Revised Budget Rs.902.45 crore and total grant received Rs.838.64 crore and Total expenditure of Rs 837.48 crore and 99.86% achievement against received grant.

  • Approval of total Rs. 1040.36 crore Rs in budget provision year 2016-17.

Hot, nutritious snacks and meals to the students of Model School

  • Under this scheme snacks and Mid Day Meal is given to 5529 students from std. VIII to XI. Rs.0.35 crore is spent for this scheme.

  • From this year 2015-16 std. 10 is included under this scheme and for that budget provision of Rs 5.79 crore for providing food and snacks to 12960 students of Model School for the year 2016-17

To Repair MDM kitchen and Modernization of MDM kitchen:

  • In the year 2014-15 Total 756 kitchens has been modernized and an expenditure of Rs. 2497.45 lakhs has been incurred.

Cooking Costs is revised for Primary per student from Rs.3.99 to Rs.4.18 per student and for Upper Primary per student from Rs.5.58 to Rs.5.85

Annual Work Plan and Budget 2014-15:

  • PAB meeting was conducted at Delhi on 20/02/15. Govt. of India has approved Annual Work Plan and Budget for the year 2015-16.

  • Total 42 Steering Cum Monitoring Committee at Districts level and is held during the year.

Budget:

  • Total budget provision Rs..1022.48 crore and Revised Budget Rs.900.91 crore and total grant received Rs.900.91 crore and Total expenditure of Rs 849.48 crore and 94.29% achievement against received grant.

  • Approval of total Rs. 952.79 crore Rs in budget provision year 2015-16.
